LCV focuses on advocating for sound environmental policies and electing pro-environmental candidates who will adopt and implement such policies. • The National Environmental Scorecard and Presidential Report Card informs the public about the most important environmental legislation of the past Congressional session and shows them how their own and other representatives voted. • They run tough and effective campaigns to defeat anti-environment candidates, and support those leaders who stand up for a clean, healthy future for America. • They educate the public, build coalitions, promote grassroots power, and train the next generation of environmental leaders.

Candidates: Defeated 43 out of 67 anti-environmental candidates targeted by their Dirty Dozen campaigns since 1996.

Capitol Hill: Helped hundreds of environmental leaders to victory both on Capitol Hill and at the ballot box.
